Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Learning Specialist to lead the design, development, and design of higher education content. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in instructional design, adult education, and learning technology to create engaging, effective learning experiences. Responsibilities

• Lead the full instructional design process using models such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to create impactful training solutions.
• Develop and manage comprehensive curricula and course content tailored for adult learners across various platforms including LMS (Learning Management System) environments such as Blackboard or similar systems.
• Oversee project management activities related to training initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content requirements and translate complex concepts into clear, accessible instructional materials.
• Conduct one on one faculty meeting utilizing strong presentation skills to facilitate effective knowledge transfer.
• Strong at Quality Matters or other rubrics
• Maintain expertise in LMS administration, content development, and instructional design best practices to continuously improve training effectiveness.

Skills

• Extensive experience with ADDIE instructional design methodology and project management principles.
• Proficiency in LMS platforms such as Blackboard or comparable systems for content delivery and tracking learner progress.
• Demonstrated ability in curriculum development, content creation, and adult education principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and engagingly.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
