Sr Full-Stack Developer- Contract Full Time

6 month contract

We are looking for a fast-moving Senior Full Stack Developer who views AI-assisted development as a baseline capability rather than a novelty. You will be responsible for designing and building secure modern applications supporting commercial and consumer banking capabilities, integrating with existing and emerging architecture, data platforms, and digital channels, while leveraging cloud and AI-enabled technologies throughout the software development lifecycle.

Principal Responsibilities

• Leverage AI tools (such as Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot) to accelerate the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of applications and integrations supporting banking capabilities such as client onboarding, payments, fraud detection, servicing, and lending.
• Design and build responsive, interactive user interfaces using modern frameworks such as React or Angular, ensuring seamless user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
• Architect, develop, and maintain robust server-side logic, integrations, microservices, and APIs using C#/.NET and/or Python.
• Manage the complete software development lifecycle from concept and prototyping through application design, development, testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate closely with Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient deployments across environments.
• Provide clear technical documentation for architecture reviews, operational handoffs, deployment procedures, and production monitoring.
• Troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and upgrade applications with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

Other Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements, including BSA, USA PATRIOT ACT, OFAC, and related banking regulations.
• Complete required compliance and security training.
• Report suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity in accordance with internal compliance procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (ksa)

AI Tooling Mastery

• Proven experience using AI-assisted development platforms such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to use prompt engineering and structured AI workflows to produce reliable, maintainable, and production-quality code.

Technical Proficiency

• Strong experience with C#/.NET and Python for backend services, integrations, automation workflows, and RESTful API development.
• Experience building and maintaining microservices-based architectures.

Frontend Expertise

• Strong understanding of secure modern web and mobile UI development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.

Data Management

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, BLOB/object storage, caching strategies, and event-driven/pub-sub architectures.

Infrastructure & DevOps

• Experience with Azure (preferred) or AWS cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, Git, and GitHub workflows.

Business Knowledge

• Experience within financial services, banking, payments, lending, or fintech environments is strongly preferred.

• Self-starter with a strong execution mindset and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-forward development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with frontend UI development, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration technologies.

Preferred

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Additional experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application development.
• 3+ years of experience within banking, payments, fintech, or financial services industries.
