About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers to ensure our websites, products, and platforms deliver exceptional quality and performance. Your primary responsibility will be designing, developing, maintaining, and executing various types of testing, including smoke, regression, functional, and performance tests, aligned with business requirements and technical specifications. You will analyze software internals, debug issues, review logs, and develop automated tests utilizing a range of scripting and automation tools. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a passion for elevating quality assurance standards across the organization. You will also be instrumental in continuously introducing innovative testing tools and practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Regular communication of testing metrics and insights to stakeholders, along with mentoring peers, will be key aspects of your role. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with advanced tools such as JIRA, XRAY, LambdaTest, Browserstack, Applitool, Postman, Kafka, Splunk, and Snowflake, contributing significantly to our quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Functional Testing: Proven experience in writing, maintaining, and executing functional test cases.
• UI Automation: Expertise in developing and managing UI automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
• API Testing: Proficiency in testing and automating REST APIs, ReactNative, and Protobuf services.
• Database Skills: Hands-on experience with SQL and database testing (e.g., MongoDB, Oracle).
• Automation Frameworks: Ability to build test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines from scratch (e.g., GitLab, GitHub).
• Programming Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with experience coding in Playwright, Java, JSON, or JavaScript.
• Software Test Life Cycle: In-depth understanding of test and defect life cycles.
• Communication: Ability to effectively convey testing metrics and insights to stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively in team environments and mentor peers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Performance Testing and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Experience testing mobile applications.

Minimum Education, Licensure, And Professional Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Minimum Experience Required

At least 5+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
