Role Description

This is a full-time, in-office Software Engineering Internship focused on Applied AI, located in the Long Island area of NY. Interns will work on developing and implementing software solutions using artificial intelligence technologies, contributing to programming tasks and debugging efforts.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain API integrations with financial platforms and third-party data providers
• Ingest and process banking and financial data to support internal tools and decision-making
• Develop systems to analyze transaction data and financial statements
• Leverage AI/LLMs to clean, structure, and extract insights from messy financial data
• Contribute to tools that support automated financial analysis and decision-making
• Work closely with the team to ship features quickly and iterate in a fast-paced environment
• Debug, test, and improve data pipelines and backend systems

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, with a focus on problem-solving and coding best practices
• Knowledge of Databases, with experience in database management and concepts
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and its command-line interface
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience or coursework related to artificial intelligence is a plus
