About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to building our platform that credentialing teams genuinely want to use. In this role, you will work across the entire technology stack, including our admin console, provider wallet, and AI assistant. You will have end-to-end ownership of features—from design and development to deployment and monitoring—ensuring that our platform remains scalable, secure, and reliable. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of healthcare credentialing technology by developing secure data pipelines, integrating with various verification sources, and implementing AI-driven features. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into robust solutions, while also mentoring junior engineers as our team grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building production-quality software systems.
• At least 2 years of experience working in small, ownership-driven teams.
• Expertise in TypeScript, React, and Next.js for frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, schema design, query optimization, and migrations under load.
• Experience designing and implementing secure data pipelines and integrations with external verification sources such as OIG, SAM, NPI, state licensing boards, and payer systems.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, observability, performance optimization, and security best practices, especially in HIPAA and SOC 2 environments.
• Ability to collaborate with product and design teams to define specifications and deliver high-quality features.
• Good instinct for product development—asking the right questions before implementation to ensure alignment with user needs and business goals.
• Healthcare or compliance-heavy SaaS experience is a plus, especially if familiar with HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ship end-to-end features across CredComply, CredWallet, and CredAssist platforms.
• Design, build, and maintain secure data pipelines for primary-source verifications and various payer and regulatory integrations.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to create detailed specifications and ensure successful implementation.
• Own the deployment, monitoring, and performance tracking of features, ensuring high reliability and security standards.
• Support and enhance our infrastructure to meet SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance requirements as the platform scales.
• Implement observability tools and practices to monitor system health, performance, and security metrics.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and continuous improvement of development processes.
