About The Role

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team working remotely from the United States. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our Buyer Solutions suite, which serves large-scale clean energy buyers managing substantial operational expenses annually. Your responsibilities will span designing, building, testing, and maintaining both frontend and backend components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal user experience. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. Your work will directly impact how energy organizations access insights, visualize data, and make informed decisions, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable and efficient energy future.

Qualifications

• Customer empathy and obsession with delivering high-quality user experiences
• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies such as Typescript, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Radix/ShadCN, and data visualization libraries like Echarts and D3/Observable
• Proficiency in backend development using Go and Python
• Experience with databases such as Postgres and AlloyDB, including data storage solutions like blob storage (GCS, S3)
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization platforms like Clerk or Auth0
• Ability to translate complex product requirements into functional software solutions
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including test-driven development and code quality assurance
• Experience with integration of frontend components with backend APIs and data visualization tools
• Familiarity with content delivery networks (CDN) and edge computing solutions
• Disciplined use of generative AI tools to enhance development workflow

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of well-designed, maintainable, and scalable systems with a focus on quality and reliability
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop intuitive and user-friendly software experiences for our Buyer Solutions platform
• Design, implement, test, debug, and maintain frontend and backend components across the full technology stack
• Integrate frontend interfaces with backend APIs to present interactive data visualizations and analytics
• Develop and maintain backend APIs, middleware, and database interactions to support application functionality
• Manage user authentication, sessions, and tokens using platforms like Clerk or Auth0 to ensure secure access
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability, leveraging CDN and edge solutions as appropriate
• Evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and architectures to continuously improve the product ecosystem
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing to uphold engineering standards
