Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary : SEACORP is seeking Software Engineers at various levels. Software Engineers research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. May design embedded systems software. Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

Education:
Software Engineer I & II – Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems).
Software Engineer III & IV – Master’s Degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems).
Experience :
Software Engineer – I – No requirement for prior professional service.
Software Engineer II – 3 years of professional service.
Software Engineer III – 10 years of professional service.
Software Engineer IV – 10 years of professional service.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.

Travel: Infrequently (<3 annually) Clearance: Secret
Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories – Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
