PilotSense is an aviation safety app measuring pilot readiness using sleep data, biometrics, and cognitive testing. We’re building tools aligned with real fatigue risk management systems (FRMS) used in aviation.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on execution role focused on:

* Breaking the app

* Fixing issues fast

* Shipping improvements using AI-assisted coding

You’ll work directly with the founder in a fast, build-heavy environment.

What You’ll Do

* Aggressively test app flows (readiness check, PVT test, logging, onboarding)

* Identify, document, and reproduce bugs clearly

* Fix contained issues in Swift/SwiftUI

* Use AI tools (Claude, etc.) to:

* Debug issues

* Generate/refactor code

* Speed up implementation

* Improve UI/UX polish and stability

* Work in short iteration cycles (daily/weekly fixes)

Core Requirement (Non-Negotiable)

You must be proficient in AI-assisted coding, including:

* Prompting tools like Claude effectively

* Using “vibe coding” workflows (rapid iteration, debugging with AI, code generation + verification)

* Understanding how to verify AI-generated code (not blindly trusting outputs)

You have to be at a high familiarity with these tools

* Build core product architecture

* Modify scoring algorithms or system logic

* Restructure backend/database systems

* Push unreviewed code

Requirements

* Basic–intermediate experience with Swift / SwiftUI

* Comfortable using Git/GitHub (branches, pull requests)

* Strong problem-solving mindset (can break + fix things independently)

* In-person availability in South Florida (near FXE)

Bonus:

* Firebase experience

* Previous app debugging experience

* Interest in aviation / built an app before
