small engine/material yard assistant Full Time

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled person for our Small Engine / Material Yard. In this role, you will be responsible for running the POS (point of sale) , customer interface, billing customers, maintain & purchase parts to repair customer equipment, pickup/delivery of equipment and material. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing excellent customer service. You will work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and efficiency are paramount. Every day is different.

Duties

• Bill customers for work done.
• Handle POS (point of sale)
• Interact with customers to provide service recommendations and explain repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Handle pickp and delivery of equipment for the small engine shop.
• Handle pickup and delivery of material for our material yard.
• Load customer vehicals, both residential and commercial, with material.
• Order parts for small engine shop.
• File records.

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
• Familiarity with sales techniques can enhance customer interactions.
• Previous experience in a dealership setting is advantageous but not required.
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Must have clean driving record.
