Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Associate (Day Shift) Full Time NEW

Ludlow Composites Corporation is an 80+year old leading manufacturer of PVC and latex foam products.

We currently have a job opportunity for an experienced Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Processor.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Shipping Processor is responsible for receiving, shipping and moving raw material and finished goods throughout the manufacturing facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick and pack orders daily for small package, LTL and full truckload shipments.
• Load and unload full truckload and LTL carriers daily.
• Daily replenishments of stocking location within warehouse.
• Load and Unload export containers
• Process UPS/Fed Ex shipments daily.
• Develops an understanding of relevant ISO 9001 Standards and ensures processes are in compliance with quality requirements.
• Operates all equipment according to safety standards and works safely in every required task.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass 7-year background screen (felony)
• Must pass drug screen
• Ability to read and write effectively; good communication skills.
• Ability to use physical exertion such as prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching and climbing; ability to lift up to 50lbs. consistently.
• Ability to operate forklift, reach trucks and stock pickers in accordance with Ludlow Composites’ safety policy.
• Ensures compliance with ISO 9001 standards, plant safety policies and procedures and 5S initiatives.
• Shipping, receiving and warehouse experience is required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Two years of experience operating a forklift. Certification is required. Training will be provided by Ludlow Composites.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is generally performed within a manufacturing environment around industrial machines.
