Taxonomic is a growing tax and advisory firm serving individuals, business owners, and high-net-worth clients with complex tax needs.

We’re looking for a Senior Tax Staff / Tax Preparer who wants meaningful client exposure, hands-on work, and the opportunity to contribute to a high-quality, detail-oriented practice.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, trust, and gift tax returns
• Work directly with clients to gather information and resolve issues
• Review staff work and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Identify tax planning considerations
• Handle IRS/state notices and assist with tax research
• Manage multiple engagements and deadlines

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and general Tax knowledge
• Experience with reviewing and analyzing Financial Statements
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• 3–6+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong experience with individual and pass-through taxation
• CPA or EA (or pursuing) preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proven ability to handle multiple deadlines and manage client relationships effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Familiarity with tax software and relevant technology tools

Compensation

• $85,000 – $115,000 (based on experience)

All tax preparation and review work is performed in-house (no outsourcing or offshore teams)
