Senior Software Engineer, Credit Technology Full Time

A leading hedge fund is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-impact credit technology team in New York. You’ll be embedded within the credit business, building the systems that power day-to-day trading, analytics, and portfolio management operations.

What You’ll Build

• Production systems supporting credit instrument coverage across structured credit, CLOs, CMBS, convertibles, and corporate bonds
• Integration pipelines with industry-standard credit analytics platforms including Intex, Yieldbook, and Monis
• Data infrastructure and analytics tooling used daily by traders, portfolio managers, and analysts
• Risk and scenario analysis capabilities, stress testing, and exposure monitoring across the credit portfolio
• Automated workflows replacing manual processes across the credit business

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Python or Java engineering
• Genuine familiarity with credit products. An Understanding of the instruments you’re building for
• Background in a credit or fixed income environment: buy-side, sell-side, or vendor
• Someone who enjoys working closely with the business and translating requirements into reliable software
