Senior Construction Accountant, ONLY 1 day/week in office (100K-110K) Full Time

LHH is looking to fill a Senior Construction Accountant position with a large privately held construction company in the Dallas area. This position has been created due to company growth and will be groomed for progression by the Controller. The company is a trusted business partner in the construction industry.

This position pays 100K-110K+Bonus and will work in-office 1 day per week and 4 days work from home.

Responsibilities include:

· Experience working with Job cost variance analysis and experience with Pay Applications and WIP

· Participate in the month end close process

· Financial statement preparation and analysis

· General ledger account reconciliation

· Assist with budgeting and forecasting

· Create system reports for upper management

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

· 5+ years of accounting experience; preferably in construction or related industry

· Familiar with percentage of completion revenue recognition would be a plus

· Strong Excel skills

· Sage 100 or job costing system experience preferred

· Possess management and leadership skills and experience
