Job Summary
Responsible for providing complex analysis of information, problems and/or data of a diverse scope, where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Works with limited supervision. Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Analyzes and reports on the impact of current or proposed solutions. Assists in driving change as needed. Provides guidance and feedback to other analysts on the team. Responsible for defining the standards for data quality across various systems, building reporting to monitor quality and using exceptional analytical and cross functional skills to root cause data quality issues. Designs and implements processes to predict and prevent future issues. Develops and maintains an expert knowledge of Walgreens Master Data ecosystem. Interacts with internal and external teams such as IT, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Finance, and Stores to drive problem resolution, RCA and identify the opportunities to improve the processes and data quality.
Job Responsibilities
Performs complex analysis of information, problems, and/or data under limited supervision. Develops recommendations for the review of lead and/or management.
Tracks, monitors, and measures the benefit of implemented solutions for complex issues,applying company policies and procedures in the resolution of a wide range of issues. Acts as a subject matter expert with a full understanding of the area of specialization. Performs gap analysis and cost benefit analysis where indicated.
Communicates risks to leadership with proposed plans for mitigation. Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Computes metrics involving complex issues.
Designs, Develops, analyzes, and disseminates complex reports.
Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise, workingcollaboratively and sharing knowledge with the team.
Interacts with internal and external teams to resolve complex issues.
Receives little to no instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Recommends streamlined processes and process improvements to the leadership. Assists in driving change as needed.
Provides guidance and feedback to other team members.

External Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience in a data analytics role OR equivalent work experience
Demonstrated proficiency writing complex SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, or other database experience
Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools and processes such as Tableau, PowerBI etc
Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (Data Manipulation, Aggregation, Trend Analysis,Visualization, Validation).
Basic Project Management experience and knowledge
Advanced problem-solving skills
Knowledge of best practices in data analysis
Familiarity with process and data flow diagrams
Willing to travel up to/at least 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a retail organization
Experience working with PIM Tools such as Stibo
Experience working with SAP
Familiarity with Agile Methodologies
1-2 years creating process or data flow diagrams
Experience with incident management process
Statistical or mathematical skills or experience working with statistics packages (R, Python, SAS, SPSS, etc.) is a plus
