Senior Accountant – Oakland County, MI (Hybrid)

This role sits on the corporate accounting and financial reporting team and is open due to continued internal growth. Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements, including cash flow reporting and related disclosures
• Support the global monthly close process and perform analytical reviews
• Research U.S. GAAP topics and assist with documentation and implementation of new standards
• Coordinate with internal and external audit teams
• Support financial reporting for international operations
• Assist with integration of newly acquired entities and ensure consistency in reporting
• Support accounting for equity-related items, including stock-based compensation
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and leverage financial systems
• Partner cross-functionally to provide accounting guidance and support special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• CPA required
• 3+ years of public accounting experience, or a mix of public and corporate accounting (Big 4 or large regional preferred)
• Strong technical accounting and U.S. GAAP knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills; large ERP experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage deadlines independently
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset
