Full Job Description
Fork & Salad was established in 2016 by the same owners and chefs of Threes Bar & Grill in Kihei. They were looking to provide delicious healthy food with fresh local ingredients, on the go and for a reasonable price. With two locations already fueling the island, we are excited to be able to do the same for Lahaina and the west side!
We are looking for Line Cooks/ Salad Techs who can prepare the items ordered by customers via ticket. Shifts will range between 9am and 10pm, 5-8 hour shifts.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the line, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure quality and hygiene.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking.
- Participate in training new staff on techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or line cooking.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality presentation of dishes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the restaurant.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
