Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Safety Professional. The Safety Professional will support organizations by implementing and overseeing health and safety protocols, conducting safety assessments, and developing comprehensive training programs. The role will involve investigating workplace incidents, analyzing data to identify potential risks, and recommending preventative measures to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Collaboration with teams to promote a culture of safety and ongoing improvement will be a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and the ability to develop and deliver effective Safety Training
• Experience in Accident Investigation and identifying root causes of incidents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to conduct employee training and foster a culture of safety
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities to evaluate and improve workplace safety measures
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field
• Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) are preferred
• Prior experience in safety roles within industries such as manufacturing, construction, or services is a plus
