Responsibilities

• Safely install and repair roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and roofing plans to ensure accurate execution of projects
• Prepare roofing surfaces by performing tasks such as framing, metal stud framing, or concrete forming as needed
• Measure, cut, and fabricate materials for custom roofing applications including tile laying, stucco, or metal roofing
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for material transport and installation on construction sites
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met and work complies with safety regulations
• Assist with restoration projects involving masonry, carpentry, or remodeling tasks related to roofing structures
• Use caulking, welding, or other finishing techniques to seal joints and ensure waterproofing integrity
• Read schematics and technical drawings to coordinate with other trades such as plumbing or electrical when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Experience

• Proven construction site experience with a focus on roofing or related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or remodeling
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading skills
• Hands-on experience working with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment
• Knowledge of roofing materials including shingles, metal panels, tiles, or stucco finishes
• Experience in restoration work or heavy lifting on active job sites is highly desirable
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately
• Prior handyman experience or background in framing carpentry enhances your versatility in this role
