Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
- Support installation, calibration, and commissioning of robots
- Diagnose and resolve system downtime efficiently
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve robot performance
- Maintain accurate service logs and documentation
- Support software/firmware updates and system diagnostics
Qualifications
- 3–8 years of experience in robotics / automation / mechatronics support
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of:
- Industrial or collaborative robotics systems
- PLCs and control systems
- Sensors, actuators, and electromechanical systems
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Hands-on field service or maintenance experience
Preferred Skills
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Robotics Engineering
- Experience with ABB / FANUC / KUKA / Yaskawa robots
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards (OSHA or equivalent)
- Exposure to robotics software integration is a plus
