Full Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Retail Stylist, or as we like to call, “Hatter,” with a passion for customer experience and a skill set in Cowboy Hat shaping and western fashion. Experience with felt and straw hats is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong retail experience. Your personality and sales skills will help customers find the perfect hat while ensuring they enjoy every moment in our store.
Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cash and credit card payments with confidence
- Provide high-level customer service and personalized styling recommendations
- Assist in Cowboy Hat shaping and customization, including but not limited to shaping, branding, and fitting.
- Educate customers on felt and straw hat materials
- Maintain store presentation and visual standards
- Support daily retail operations
- Maintain an engaging store environment through effective merchandising and stocking of cowboy hats and related accessories
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering roles
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, register balancing, and sales calculations
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences
- Familiarity with POS systems

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
