2. About the Opportunity:
The Remote Medical Receptionist will serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, managing communications efficiently in a high-volume setting. This role supports the organization’s operations by directing calls appropriately, resolving minor inquiries, and facilitating appointment scheduling. It contributes to maintaining effective communication channels crucial for patient and provider interactions.
3. Responsibilities:
• Handle all inbound calls, screen purpose, and direct to appropriate department or team member
• Route messages and escalations accordingly
• Schedule and reschedule appointments
• Perform administrative and clerical support tasks
4. Requirements:
• Minimum one year experience in Customer Support, Administrative, Healthcare Reception, Provider Office, or Patient Relations role
• Preferred: One year clinical experience
• Preferred: Active Clinical Multi-State/Compact License
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to handle and deescalate escalations professionally
• Basic knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Associate”s Degree or equivalent preferred
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Pay: $14.50 per hour
