Rehab Administrative Assistant – Temporary – Days Full Time

• PURPOSE OF JOB : To provide clerical support to the outpatient Rehabilitation services and when necessary the Orthopedic department and the Moss medical practice .

• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
• Provides outpatient therapy registration area with necessary clerical support
• Communicates with all patients and team members in a collaborative, courteous manner while displaying strong customer service
• Ensures and provides scheduling support for therapists that is accurate, timely and efficient
• Ensures maintenance of outpatient therapy filing system that is accurate, timely and efficient.

Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Education: An Associate or BS degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience: Previous secretarial experience preferable in a medical office or hospital

Experience in computer applications- must be able to work with word documents,

spreadsheets and databases

• Other Skills:

• • Ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of computer functionality, typing/transcription and all office equipment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must possess the ability to problem solving
  • Must possess the ability to work independently as well as in a team
