About the Company

We’re looking for a detail-obsessed QA Engineer who treats bugs like plot holes in a thriller — unacceptable and worth hunting down relentlessly. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and design to ensure our releases are stable, scalable, and actually behave the way humans expect them to.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who’s moved beyond just executing test cases and is now thinking in systems, edge cases, and automation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies
• Own end-to-end quality of features from requirement to production
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for web/API/mobile testing
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Collaborate with developers to debug issues and ensure quick resolution
• Identify gaps in testing and proactively improve QA processes
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery
• Monitor production issues and drive root cause analysis
• Advocate for quality across the engineering lifecycle (not just at the end)

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of manual + automated testing methodologies
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• Experience testing REST APIs (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation
• Strong debugging skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, etc.)
• Exposure to test data management and mocking frameworks
• Basic coding ability in languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Experience working in startup or fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of security testing basics
