Full Job Description
Flexbar Machine Corporation and Mediflex Surgical Products are a family owned manufacturing company based in Islandia, NY. More information on the companies can be found on our websites, www.flexbar.com, and www.mediflex.com.
This job will assist both the purchasing department and the customer service department in handling their current work loads. Roughly half the time will be spent entering purchase orders, sending them to vendors, and filing them appropriately. The other half of the time will be spent helping customer service by participating in the processes of quoting, order entry, international shipping, and invoicing.
On the job training will be provided – a good communicator with a great demeanor is the biggest qualification for this position. Immediate attention will be given to applicants who apply with a cover letter.
Job description:
- Purchase order entry;
- Communicate with vendors;

- Quoting
- Sales order entry;
- Organize shipping documents, prepare shipping quotes, and execute the process of shipping internationally;
- Invoicing;
- Other responsibilities as they come up.
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
