POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The maintenance technician will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide dedicated service to residents
Complete assigned work orders, tasks, and scheduled repairs
Assist coworkers when required
Conscious effort to monitor property expenses
Maintain an organized property parts inventory & storage
Daily boiler room checks & log all pressure and temperature
Accurately complete information on work order forms
On-call rotation with site staff, weekly coverage and incentive
Plumbing skill with drains
Change air filters, clean coils, drain parts and condensate drain lines
Ensure common areas are clean & free of debris
Reset breakers and replace fuses
Monitor smoke detectors and fire safety systems routinely
Operate snow blower & equipment as needed
Replace & repair tiles
Replace & repair electrical outlets or switches
Replace & repair window s
