This role supports our Houston operations and works closely across engineering, production, supply chain, and leadership teams to help ensure successful project delivery.

Role Description

Okeanus is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple projects from kickoff through completion. This position is responsible for maintaining schedules, aligning cross-functional teams, communicating with customers and internal stakeholders, tracking project actions and changes, and helping ensure projects are delivered on time and to the expected quality standards. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a marine, industrial, or manufacturing environment where project priorities, schedules, and technical requirements must be managed carefully. 

Qualifications

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables for both short-term and long-term execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional project activities across engineering, production, procurement, quality, and other internal teams.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring communication remains clear and actions stay aligned.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and drive timely resolution to maintain schedule and performance goals.
• Adjust project schedules, priorities, and targets as project needs, scope, or funding conditions change.
• Maintain project documentation and records in accordance with company quality management processes.
• Support administrative project activities including meeting scheduling, meeting minutes, purchase requisitions, and data archiving.
• Communicate regularly with customers and stakeholders regarding project status, needs, and goals.
• Prepare project updates, reports, and presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
• Help improve project management processes, workflows, and budget planning practices.
• Build strong customer relationships that support successful execution and future business opportunities.
• Ensure project changes, action items, and decisions are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Support multiple concurrent projects and perform other related duties as assigned. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in project management, project coordination, or related roles in a technical, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using project management software and ERP systems.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to delegate effectively and coordinate resources to meet project goals.
• Working knowledge of document control, procurement processes, and engineering-related workflows.
