Are you ready to take your career to new heights? We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Project Coordinator/Accountant to join our team in the construction industry. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in construction accounting, month-end reporting, WIP, and AIA documents. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role and a proven track record of success. This role will require a high level of financial acumen, project management skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Coordinator/Accountant, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks including but not limited to:

• Overseeing all financial aspects of our construction projects, from initial budgeting to final cost analysis.
• Coordinating with project managers, suppliers, and clients to ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
• Preparing and analyzing Work in Progress (WIP) reports and managing month-end closing processes.
• Reviewing and processing AIA documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations.
• Providing financial forecasts and conducting variance analysis to identify potential cost overruns and revenue shortfalls.
• Collaborating with the finance team to develop and implement effective financial management strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following:

• A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proven experience with WIP, construction accounting, month-end reporting, and AIA documents.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• A strong understanding of the construction industry, including knowledge of relevant financial regulations and industry best practices.
