Product Manager North America Full Time NEW

TH Daniels Global Executive Search & Selection have partnered with a leading coatings manufacturer to recruit a Strategic Product Manager for their Industrial Coatings portfolio.

This is a high‑impact strategic and cross‑functional role within the organisation, reporting directly into senior leadership. The position is remote, with a preference of Midwest USA but this is flexible. The successful candidate will bring strong product management expertise within liquid and powder industrial coatings, combined with the strategic thinking and commercial acumen needed to drive product lifecycle leadership and support long‑term profitable growth.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with liquid and powder industrial coatings.
• Background in product management, product marketing, sales, or related commercial roles.
• Strong ability to partner with sales teams and support revenue growth initiatives.
• Proven experience leading new product development using a stage‑gate or similar framework.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in pricing, margins, and business case development.

Key Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for the Industrial Coatings portfolio whilst evaluating portfolio performance and recommend investments, rationalisation, or product exits.
• Lead cross‑functional new product development from concept through launch and translate market and customer insights into clear product requirements and business cases.
• Manage stage‑gate processes to ensure technical, financial, and timeline objectives are met.
• Partner closely with sales teams to support growth with key accounts and customer opportunities.
• Gather and analyse market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback.
• Oversee full product lifecycle management including introduction, optimisation, and end‑of‑life.
