About the Role:

Wing is looking for a Product Lead to serve as the primary architect and strategic visionary for our Commerce & Operations Product team. This is a Hybrid Role based in Palo Alto, California. In this leadership role, you will be the definitive owner of the systems that bridge the gap between autonomous flight and global retail. You won’t just manage a roadmap, you will define the multi year strategy for our commercial ecosystem, from our flagship consumer interfaces to the high scale API integrations powering our Fortune 500 partnerships. As a high leverage leader, you will act as a force multiplier for our engineering and business teams. You will be expected to identify market shifting opportunities before they are codified, ensuring our products are not only functional but are world class benchmarks for scalability and revenue generation. You will partner directly with executive leadership across Engineering, Legal, and Global Operations to dismantle systemic bottlenecks and replace them with Smart Simplicity at a global scale.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the 3-5 year vision for Wing’s product pillars (Partner APIs, Checkout, and Merchant Tools, and fulfilment/ network availability), ensuring alignment with company wide growth targets and international regulatory shifts.
• Lead the high level design of complex, multi-party integrations, ensuring our API-driven solutions provide a seamless experience for both enterprise giants and the end consumer.
• Establish the product standards and frameworks that allow cross functional teams to move faster, taking responsibility for the process architecture that removes friction from the development lifecycle.
• Act as the primary product authority when engaging with Wing’s C-suite and external executive leadership at partner organizations.
• Define the economic and engagement frameworks (North Star metrics) that measure success for the entire business unit, utilizing deep data fluency to pivot strategy when necessary.
• Stay at the forefront of e-commerce and logistics trends, ensuring Wing’s tech stack remains the gold standard for the drone delivery industry.

What You’ll Need:

• 15+ years of proven Product Management leadership within high growth tech, e-commerce, or marketplace environments.
• Demonstrated experience building extensible API platforms and developer ecosystems that support third party integrations at scale.
• A track record of leading “0 to 1” initiatives that reached “1 to N” scale, specifically within products that involve complex, real world logistics or physical operations.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical roadmaps and business tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders and external partners.
• A systems thinking approach to problem solving, focused on building scalable frameworks rather than one off solutions.
• A BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, with the ability to debate system architecture with Staff and Principal Engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

Salary Range: $304,000 USD – $323,000 USD
