About The Role

This position is a remote opportunity open to candidates residing in select U.S. states, including Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington. The role involves working as a Product Designer within Praxent’s dynamic design team, contributing to the creation of user-centric digital products. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive, innovative, and visually compelling user experiences for a variety of projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in the full design lifecycle, and influence the development of products that deliver real business value. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product design, UX/UI, human-centered design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in UX/UI design principles, visual design, interaction design, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience working in Agile or software delivery environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of user-centered thinking, translating business goals and user needs into effective designs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and iterations in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks or design handoff processes to engineering teams is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work legally in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design user experiences for well-defined projects with guidance, participating in sprints, creating wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes.
• Develop UI/UX solutions that are intuitive, functional, and visually appealing, based on user research and feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design consistency and quality.
• Participate in or facilitate Agile rituals, such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to team best practices and process improvements.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine designs accordingly.
• Ensure that all design deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design.
• Communicate design rationale clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
