About the Role

We are hiring a Product Builder (Software Engineering) to help build the core systems behind Reml Insights, our evaluation engine for real estate investment.

This is a hands-on role working across backend, frontend, and data systems in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend, frontend, and data pipelines
• Develop core product modules, including:
• Market rent engine
• Evaluation workflows
• Supply and demand intelligence
• Translate real-world data into structured, reliable systems
• Improve system performance, data quality, and robustness
• Collaborate on product design and system architecture

QualificationsRequired

• Experience with Python, TypeScript, or similar programming languages
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and version control (Git)
• Comfortable working in command-line / terminal environments

Preferred

• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codex)
• Experience working with data-heavy or analytical systems
• Interest in real estate, finance, or investment workflows

Work Environment

• Remote (U.S.-based preferred)
• Early-stage, fast-paced (0→1 build environment)
• High ownership and collaboration

Compensation

• Hourly, based on experience
