Role Description
The Android Developer will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining Android applications in alignment with product and technical requirements. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-performance and user-friendly applications. This is a full-time on-site position located in District 2, WV. The developer will need to debug and optimize applications while staying updated with Android development trends and technologies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or other programming languages for Android development
- Experience working with Android Studio, Android SDK, and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles, Material Design guidelines, and responsive layouts
- Ability to debug, test, and optimize Android applications
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and team collaboration tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in payments or FinTech is a plus
