Company Overview

We are a growing pool services company seeking career-minded pool technicians like you to join our team full-time. We are looking for talented individuals interested in a longer-term career with opportunity for greater income and responsibility. You should have at least four years of employed outdoor work experience and enjoy working outside. Pool experience is not necessary. We will train you, provide a vehicle and all of the tools and equipment necessary to perform your duties. Note that technicians do not take vehicles home. The work days for the position will be weekdays with only occasional Saturday work due to weather or holidays (no Sundays). We are a smoke-free company. No smoking in vehicles, customer or office locations.

Pool Technician Compensation

Compensation is calculated on a per pool basis before taxes.
Technicians with no experience start at a salary of $41,600 per year before taxes. Technicians with experience may start at up to $52,000 per year before taxes, depending on experience. Pay is weekly in arrears

Pool Technician Job description – You should expect to:

• Work and drive independently on a pool services route (vehicle provided, but not taken home)
• Hours are Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday 6:30am to 3:30pm or nine (9) hours, which includes one hour for lunch / breaks. Note hours are on average and actual end time may be sooner or later.
• Professionally interact with and maintain customer relationships
• Work well with others in a team environment
• Inspect pumps, heaters and other equipment for problems
• Net, brush and vacuum pools
• Test water chemistry and maintain and treat water appropriately
• Periodically clean and replace filters
• Become familiar with pool and spa clocks, timers and other systems
• Perform other pool cleaning and maintenance activities as required
• Maintain your company vehicle, including assisting with delivering it to a maintenance and repair shop
• Receive attractive compensation based on experience, including customer tips and company bonuses

Pool Technician Job requirements – You should be / have:

• 25 Years old or older due to driving a company vehicle
• Five years of employed labor-intensive outdoor work experience with the expectation to work outdoors in heat and rain
• A valid driver’s license with a three-year (3-year) clean driving record (no DUI’s, accidents, speeding tickets, etc. We will check driving record prior to hiring)
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence
• The ability to learn quickly through hands-on experience
• A positive attitude with clean-cut appearance (no offensive tattoos and plan to cover tattoos if there are many due to our clientele)
• The capability to lift pool items up to 40 to 50 pounds occasionally
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• No smoking in vehicles or at customer and office locations
• Provide three (3) professional references
