Plant Attendant Full Time

Job Description:

The person(s) in this position will work approx. 10 hours a day, Monday through Friday. They will be in charge of receiving and processing inbound material, loading and unloading trucks (with forklifts and by hand), maintaining Q/A and Q/C data systems, and filling outbound orders. They will be required to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Job Duties:

• Be punctual
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand jacks
• Receive, unload, and process inbound deliveries
• Unload, load, and secure trucks for deliveries
• Prep. holding tanks for inbound deliveries
• Maintain QA/QC data base
• Label, repackage, and weigh bulk material into proper repackaging vessels
• Maintain inventory for proper reordering schedule
• Mixing various products according to proprietary blends to meet proper specs.
• General plant maintenance
• Follow all proper safety procedures and rules

Proffered Competencies:

• Basic math skills
• Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Prior warehousing experience
• Forklift experience
• Mechanical / electrical abilities
• Organizational skills and cleanliness
