This role is ideal for a creative professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for premium, editorial-style photo enhancement. You will collaborate with a braids-focused brand aiming to establish a high-end, artistic visual identity. The primary objective is to elevate images beyond standard social media content, ensuring each photo reflects a clean, minimal, and refined aesthetic suitable for magazine editorials. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the brand’s visual narrative and may have the opportunity for ongoing collaboration.

Deliverables

• Retouch and enhance photos to achieve a natural, high-end editorial look
• Refine skin tones and textures while avoiding over-editing
• Apply subtle color grading to maintain a premium, minimal aesthetic
• Ensure consistency across all images to support a cohesive brand identity
• Collaborate closely to understand and execute the desired visual direction
• Deliver final, print-ready and web-optimized images within agreed timelines

Requirements

• Proven experience in high-end photo retouching, preferably for editorial or fashion brands
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in natural skin retouching and subtle color grading
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom or equivalent professional software
• Excellent understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and aesthetics
• Ability to maintain a clean, minimal, and premium look in all deliverables
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness for collaborative feedback
• Availability for ongoing or long-term projects
• Experience working with beauty, hair, or fashion imagery is a plus
