Pediatric Occupational Therapist – Entry Level Full Time

Pediaprogress is a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of pediatric therapists passionate about helping children reach their full potential. We provide high-quality physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy services to children from birth to 18 years. As a credentialed provider with the Illinois Early Intervention program, we offer therapy both in-home (near our office or therapist locations) and in our spacious, light-filled clinic.

OT Position Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• Active (or eligible) Illinois Occupational Therapist license.
• Illinois Early Intervention (EI) credential is required, or a willingness to obtain it upon hire.
• Strong foundational experience evaluating and treating children with sensory processing differences and diverse developmental needs.
• Ability to actively engage with kids on their level—including safely lifting up to 40 pounds, moving dynamically throughout the clinic, and spending extended periods on your feet.

OT Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, produce detailed clinical reports, and design individualized, playful intervention plans tailored to each child’s unique needs.
• Provide high-quality therapy services across diverse settings, including our clinic, community daycares, and/or family homes.
• Establish clear, measurable goals and continuously update treatment plans to accurately reflect each child’s progress and evolving needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to discuss progress, build trust, and provide actionable strategies for at-home carryover.
• Collaborate with local educators, community partners, and doctors to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s care network.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary meetings, openly sharing clinical knowledge, mentorship, and best practices with fellow therapists.
• Contribute to internal team committees, clinic initiatives, and provide scheduling coverage for colleagues when needed to support the team.
• Maintain active Illinois licensure by staying up to date on required continuing education hours and consistently meeting the clinic’s balanced productivity standards.
