As a Passport Agent, you will:

• Process passport applications in compliance with federal regulations.
• Review and verify required documentation, including proof of citizenship and identity.
• Collect applicable fees and ensure proper handling of sensitive documents.
• Provide customer service by greeting applicants and assisting with scheduling and application questions.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of personal information.
• Utilize computer systems to manage appointments and application records.
• Support office operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

What you bring to the position:

• Associate’s degree in business administration, related field of study or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in clerical or office work.
• Experience providing customer service in a professional setting.
• Experience with cash handling and basic financial transactions.
• Basic computer proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process documentation.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain Passport Acceptance Agent Certification within one week of hire (on-the-job training and cerrfication fees are provided).

Additional qualifications that support success in this position (not required):

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Previous passport processing or related experience.
• Prior Passport Acceptance Agent Certification.

This position is full-time and is classified as nonexempt.

Pay Range: $16.50 – $19.82 per hour
