Full Job Description
Summary:
The Parts Administrative Associate plays a crucial role in the parts department by overseeing various administrative tasks related to inventory management, accounting, and order processing. This position ensures that invoices are paid, credits are processed promptly, and overall departmental paperwork flows smoothly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and control inventory to optimize stock levels.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Process invoices and credits in a timely manner.
- Maintain parts payable/receivable and core schedules.
- Handle daily emergency and critical orders through multiple suppliers, including Freightliner, Detroit Diesel, Western Star, Sprinter, Caterpillar, and Cummins.
- Provide backup support to warehouse staff when necessary.
- Collaborate with supervisors to resolve posting or parts schedule issues.
- Fulfill any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Logical thinking ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
- Basic proficiency in computer skills.
