Job Summary

Duties

• Finish drywall surfaces by taping, mudding, sanding, and applying texture to achieve smooth, flawless results ready for painting or finishing
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching holes, sanding rough spots, and applying primer or sealant as needed before painting or finishing work
• Apply high-quality paint coatings on walls, ceilings, trim carpentry, doors, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, to meet project specifications
• Perform surface preparation tasks such as caulking gaps and seams for a seamless finish.
• Collaborate with project managers, construction inspectors, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards

Skills

• Experience with Drywall repairs and painting to coordinate tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
• Knowledge of inspection standards to ensure quality control throughout the drywall and painting process.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools (e.g., putty knives, trowels) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders) used in drywall finishing and surface prep. (Some on site training may be provided)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
