Order Picker 2nd shift Full Time NEW

Hours: 3:30 pm – 12 am , Mon-Fri

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the error-free and efficient picking of customer and internal orders and delivering them to the order filling staging area in a way that they can be handled efficiently through the next step in the order filling process. To be a team player in a fast-paced warehouse environment and perform at a high level.

PRINCIPAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Accurately and efficiently pick the items and quantities defined on customer pick tickets following standard operating procedures.

· Ensure customer specifications defined on pick tickets are followed during the picking process.

· Return to stock items, bin consolidation, cycle counting

· Stretch wrap pallets using a pallet wrap machine and stage pallets to await shipping

· Audit shipments and load trucks

· Meet or exceed job standards for lines picked per hour/day

· Other duties/projects as assigned by Warehouse Manager

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma/GED, 1+ years warehouse experience

· Certified to operate order picker and forklift equipment

· Basic working experience with PC and ERP systems

· Working verbal and written knowledge of English

· Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50lbs

· Be able to stand, squat, and bend over, and be able to lift/reach with arms

· Ability to apply basic math concepts

· Ability to work error free

· Must always be safety conscious and aware of your surroundings

· Ability to work flexible hours

Pay: $18.50 per hour
