Join our team as an Order Management Associate, where you’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly from start to finish. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll coordinate workflows, prioritize operations, and ensure orders are completed on time and within budget while collaborating across teams to drive efficiency and performance.
Your tasks
- Prepare, issue, and review production workflow
- Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Determining manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover operational demand
- Ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
- Address issues when they arise, aiming for minimum disruption
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other operational team members
- Company travel required when applicable
- Position is Richmond, VA-based and non-remote
Your profile
- Bachelor’s and/or Trad Degree required OR equivalent experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- Experienced in production planning and quality control principles
- Strong time management skills, urgency, and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects
- Ability to communicate effectively, present and influence credibly at all levels
- Problem Solving – Able to investigate root cause and suggest workable solutions
- Deductive Reasoning – Ability to apply general rules to problems to produce sensible answers
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP experience preferred
