Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Operator Specialst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, fostering strong relationships, and driving sales growth. This role requires a blend of foodservice knowledge, relationship management, and sales expertise. The Operator Specialist will play a vital role in business development within an assigned territory.
Duties
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Foodservice operators to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, utilizing sales tools for tracking and reporting.
- Conduct sales calls to current and potential operators to introduce new products as well as provide solutions to operator needs.
- Collaborate with manufacturers’ reps and management to understand product offerings and effectively communicate features and benefits to operators.
- Develop strategic plans for account management that align with company goals.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Provide ongoing support to operators, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Participate in Distributor Sales Meetings and Trade Shows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in foodservice sales or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated success in sales and business development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with the foodservice industry is highly desirable.
