Position Overview

The Nonprofit Operations Coordinator will serve as a key contributor to the day-to-day workplace experience and operational success of a dynamic Washington, DC office. This role is ideal for a proactive and hospitality-minded professional who enjoys creating an organized, welcoming, and efficient environment for both staff and visitors. The position offers broad exposure across office operations, facilities coordination, onboarding support, workplace experience initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration within an internationally recognized nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate front desk operations, visitor hospitality, reception coverage, mail services, and overall workplace experience
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding logistics including workspace setup, office tours, and operational coordination
• Manage office operations including facilities requests, vendor communication, inventory management, kitchen organization, and office maintenance
• Assist with vendor agreements, operational invoices, office recordkeeping, and administrative process coordination
• Support internal communications, office safety initiatives, emergency preparedness activities, and workplace improvements
• Partner closely with internal departments to maintain a polished, organized, and efficient office environment

Qualifications

• Experience supporting office administration, workplace operations, hospitality, facilities, or administrative coordination functions
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• Professional and polished communication style with a strong customer service mindset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning office systems and technology platforms
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a fast-paced team environment

Compensation And Benefits
