Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Metal Building Erector/Crew Member to join our growing construction team. If you enjoy working outdoors, have experience with metal building systems, and take pride in quality craftsmanship, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Erect pre-engineered metal buildings and structural steel components
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
- Bolt, weld, and secure structural components per specifications
- Work at heights on ladders, lifts, or scaffolding
- Assist in unloading and staging materials
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Operate heavy equipment safely during the erection process and site preparation
- Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate project timelines and workflows
Requirements
- Proven experience in metal building erection or related construction fields
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of 50+ lbs. safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations on construction sites
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Pay: $20.00 – $32.00 per hour
