What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Manage and assign files to appropriate staff members and initiate contacts with employers, clients, claimants, and medical providers
• Maintain individual caseload responsibility and appropriate electronic and paper files
• Interface with various inter-disciplinary providers and update participating providers
• Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately while processing documents using office equipment
• Continuously improve job skills and knowledge of company products and services through ongoing training

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Experience in disciplines such as CNA, Medical Assistant, Physical Therapy Aide, or similar roles
• Experience with workers’ compensation or disability is a plus
• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Basic knowledge of medical reports and ability to research evidence-based guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred but not required
• Ability to express empathy with injured and/or disabled individuals
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow systems and procedures
• A time-management mindset with planning and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
