Mechanical Systems Engineer Full Time NEW

We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Hardware Engineer to design hardware for our seminal PCR based platform. You’ll work closely with scientists and software engineers to take prototypes through development, optimization, manufacturing transfer and commercialization.

What You’ll Do

● Design and prototype instrument and components for diagnostic systems (fluidic, electrical, optical, mechanical).

● Integrate optical components, fluidics, assays, and circuitry into functional prototypes.

● Rapidly test, troubleshoot, and refine designs based on feedback.

● Collaborate with assay and software teams to ensure seamless integration.

● Support transition from prototype to manufacturable product.

What We’re Looking For

● Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) with 5+ years of experience.

● Proven hands-on experience with hardware design and prototyping.

● Experience with hardware prototyping (CAD, Machining, 3D printing, Molding).

● Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

● Experience working with systems, and optics.

● Creative problem-solver who enjoys working across disciplines.

Salary range $85k – $140k/year
