Job Description:
Lamers Bus Lines, a leader in school bus and motor coach transportation, is looking for mechanics to join our team.
Job Responsibility:
- Routine Maintenance: Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on school buses and/or motor coaches
- Diagnostics & Repairs: Identify and fix equipment issues
- Compliance: Conduct safety checks to ensure vehicles meet all regulations
- Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed service logs for all repairs and inspections
- Project Work: Participate in scheduled maintenance and fleet improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain)
- ASE certifications (a plus, but not required)
- Safety-conscious and team-oriented mindset.
