Experienced Automotive Technicians (Drivability): Tired of working weekends? Want solid pay, a supportive team, and a shop that respects your skills and lets you do your best work—without drama or micromanagement?
GearHeads Auto & Diesel Repair. (Jackson, MO) is a family-owned shop with 16 years in the community. We’re known for fixing EVERYTHING—especially drivability and electrical diagnostics—and we’re looking for a TRUE diagnostic master technician who can troubleshoot what others can’t.
HERE’S WHAT WE OFFER OUR TECHS:✓ GOOD PAY AND BENEFITS
- $70k – $100k/yr + Performance Based Bonuses ($35 – $48/hr)
- 401k with a 3% employer match
- 6 Paid holidays
- 1 week PTO after 120 days, 2 weeks PTO after one year ( 3 wks after 3)

- 1 set of work boots and 4 haircuts per year and uniforms provided

- Relocation Assistance Available – If you’re the right candidate, we’ll help you relocate to Springfield so you can hit the ground running.
✓ SIGN-ON BONUS + RELOCATION
- Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus for techs with diagnostic experience in a professional repair facility who can step in and work independently
- Payout timing: first payment after 30 days, then quarterly after that
- Relocation assistance available if you’re the right fit
✓ 5-DAY WORK WEEK (NO WEEKENDS!) – We want your life to work inside and outside of the shop. Recharge over the weekend by doing the things you love and spending time with your family and friends.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 5+ years in a professional auto repair business
- Strong diagnostic & problem-solving skills
- Excellent with electrical and drivability diagnostics
- Comfortable with scan tools, lab scopes, etc.
- Master or ASE Certified
- Independent thinker who enjoys solving problems
