Description
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support a growing Financial Services organization in Reno, Nevada. This Contract to hire position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating campaigns, keeping marketing activities organized, and contributing across digital channels. The role combines content scheduling, social media support, partner communication, and performance tracking to help the team execute consistent and effective marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate editorial timelines, posting plans, and simple project updates to keep marketing work on schedule
Assist in developing marketing materials by adapting existing content and creating basic visual assets with Adobe Creative, Canva, CapCut, or comparable design tools
Carry out daily social media activities, including publishing posts, responding to engagement, and monitoring channel performance
Support affiliate and referral partner programs through outreach, onboarding assistance, follow-up communication, and preparation of helpful resources
Maintain records of campaign and channel activity to identify trends, improve follow-through, and strengthen results over time
Contribute to email and direct marketing efforts by helping organize promotional campaigns and related communications
Assist with CRM-based marketing tasks and help ensure audience communications are timely and accurately tracked
Requirements
Preferred Experience:
B2C or B2B marketing, including professional, legal, financial, real estate, or business services
Affiliate, influencer, creator, or referral partner management
Basic video editing or short-form content production
Creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar
Analytics or advertising platforms (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Ads, Google Ads, or similar)
CRM or marketing automation tools
SEO and content marketing fundamentals
Landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization
Newsletter writing and customer lifecycle campaigns
Working with executives, founders, attorneys, or subject matter experts
