Manufacturing Coating Technician Full Time

Description:
Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Technician – IR Coating Tech
II. This role supports a company that specializes in advanced
manufacturing processes, with a focus on coating technologies used in
electronic displays and touchscreens. In this position, you will be
primarily responsible for operating thin film coating machinery,
including sputter deposition systems, to produce high-quality glass
substrates for cutting-edge visual display applications. Your work will
involve following precise procedures, capturing and analyzing process
data, and collaborating with process engineers to ensure optimal
performance and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be
detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced
environment dedicated to quality and innovation.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating vacuum chambers for
sputter deposition, maintaining equipment, documenting production data,
and troubleshooting deviations from normal operation. You will also
contribute to process improvements and ensure the cleanliness and
organization of your work area.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $22 -$24/hr
Required Skills, Education and Experience:

US Person with a High School diploma or GED

Minimum of 5 years of relevant machine operation or manufacturing

experience

Strong computer skills

Experience in an optics manufacturing environment preferred

Photolithography experience preferred

Clean room experience preferred

Ability to follow detailed procedures and perform semi-routine

equipment maintenance

Experience with physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating processes
